Description
Lavandula angustifolia ‘Hidcote’, or English Lavender, is a compact perennial with fragrant foliage and flowers. Blue-purple flower spikes arise out of green-gray foliage. Attracts butterflies.
Easy to grow, requiring little maintenance. Lavender likes hot, dry locations. Drought tolerant once established. Excellent for rock gardens, borders or mass plantings. Can be dried and used in floral arrangements and has culinary uses.
