Description
Arctostaphylos hookeri ‘Mills’ is a low, mounding evergreen shrub displaying small, dark green, pointed leaves and attractive maroon stems. Clusters of pink, bell-shaped flowers in spring. Native plant of the Pacific Northwest. Manzanita can be suitable groudcover for dry, sandy soils. Best growth occurs in acid soils. Excellent for edging and rock gardens.
