Description

Hosta ‘Proud Treasure’ is a showy perennial displaying unusual, thick, rubbery leaves variegated by a broad creamy yellow margin and colorful red petioles. A tetraploid hybrid with great vigor. Features stalks of lavender flowers in late Summer.

Hostas, also called Plantain Lilies, grow best in moist, well-drained, highly organic soils. A good partner for ferns. Although the flowers are attractive, Hostas are usually grown for their ornamental foliage.
