Epimedium grandiflorum var. higoense ‘Bandit’ – Barrenwort (4.5″ Pot)

Description

Epimedium g. var. higoense ‘Bandit’ features tight clumps of showy, long, spiny green leaves heavily flecked with amber. This variety is heavy blooming, with 2′ tall, hairy, burgundy, arching spikes of large white-spurred flowers, each highlighted by a maroon flower tip. Easy to grow!

These tough plants can grow under trees where many others die off. Barrenwort is effective as a groundcover or tucked into shady gardens. Tolerates dry conditions once established.
