Bletilla striata ‘Variegata’ – Hardy Ground Orchid (4.5″ Pot)

Description

Bletilla striata ‘Variegata’ features clumps of large, white flowers with subtle, lavender highlights on the lips. The blooms are carried on tall stalks above broadly ribbed, variegated, iris like leaves. This is a rare variety of Chinese Hardy Orchid.

Grows almost anywhere but prefers a rich, well-drained soil with adequate moisture. Water during growing season. This is not a plant for the dry shady garden.
