Description

Calathea warscewiczii, also called Jungle Velvet Plant, is a large-growing, tropical evergreen houseplant featuring velvety, arching leaves with a brilliant, two-tone green pattern. The leaf undersides exhibit a lovely maroon purple color. Grows with an upright, clumping habit. This plant makes an interesting accent for shade containers.

Calatheas grow best in an evenly moist, well-drained soil. Feed with a slow-release fertilizer at planting. Beautiful accent for borders, containers or as houseplants. Protect from frost!
