Description

Begonia ‘Peter Sharp’ is a compact Begonia variety featuring medium sized leaves that show off tones of mahogany red, burnt orange and near black. The leaf edges are lined with fine, white hairs.

Begonias grow best in well-drained, humus-rich soil with moderate water. They prefer high humidity and indirect sunlight. Apply a slow-release fertilizer sparingly in spring. This makes a beautiful accent plant for a border or container, but is primarily used as a houseplant. Even works as a terrarium specimen. Protect from frost!
