Dicentra spectabilis Valentine® is an herbaceous perennial that displays masses of showy, ruby-red flowers with white tips on deep red stems. Blue-gray, fern-like foliage adds interest. Bleeding Heart makes a good cut flower.
Plant in humus rich, moist, well-drained soil. Good in flowers beds, borders, containers and mass plantings. Remove spent foliage in spring before new growth begins.
