Kalanchoe beharensis var. subnuda features olive green, velvety, undulating leaves arching down along an upright growing, central stem. In its natural habitat, Southern Madagascar, these impressive succulents reach up to 12 feet tall. When grown indoors or in cooler zones, this will be much smaller. The older leaves eventually fall off, leaving an exposed trunk, which is attractive in its own right.
