Dwarf Kowhai prefers a well-drained, evenly moist soil that is not waterlogged. Reduce watering in winter. The shrub will look best in full sun, either on a southward or westward facing side of the house. ‘Little Baby’ is not tolerant of freezing temperatures, and may need to be overwintered in a frost-free spot.
