Lonicera crassifolia – Creeping Honeysuckle (3.5″ Pot)

NEW! Lonicera crassifolia, creeping honeysuckle, displays small dark green, button-shaped leaves on low rambling, evergreen stems. The tiny honeysuckle flowers open along the stems, from rosy red buds tipped in chartreuse, and turn orange as they mature. Charming but not fragrant. Fall/Winter foliage is purple red.

Creeping Honeysuckle requires moist, well-drained, acidic soil. Pinch tips several times a year to keep from becoming leggy. Excellent as groundcover or planter/basket spiller.
