Description
Pteris aspericaulis var. tricolor (Pteris blumeana) is a beautiful tropical fern with shiny fronds that emerge reddish-bronze with purple midribs and centers. As they mature, they settle into a deep green color with white frond centers.
Ferns thrive in neutral to acidic, loose, richly organic soil which is moist but not waterlogged. Prefers bright, filters sunlight and is excellent as a houseplant or in a seasonal container. Protect from freezing temperatures!
