Begonia maculata (Silver Spot) – Cane Begonia (4.5″ Pot)

This product is no longer available from Little Prince. This product page has been kept for informational purposes.

Begonia maculata (Silver Spot) is an upright, cane-type Begonia displaying large green angel wing leaves marked with silvery polka dots and a maroon reverse side. Dangling clusters of pink flowers appear in Summer.

Begonias grow best in well-drained, humus-rich soil with moderate water. They prefer high humidity and indirect sunlight. Apply a slow-release fertilizer sparingly in spring. This makes a beautiful accent plant for a border or container, but is primarily used as a houseplant. Protect from freezing temperatures.
