Alocasia ‘Green Shield’ (Alocasia clypeolata) is lovely tropical houseplant with glossy and waxy green leaves with darker green veins. Matures to form a clump of arching, impressive shield leaves.

Alocasia plants do best in warmer temperatures and high humidity. They are great for adding color and texture in landscapes and containers. Keep evenly moist and fertilize monthly during the growing season. Provide with lots of bright light but avoid direct sunlight, especially from the scorching afternoon sun in summer. Protect from freezing temperatures!
