Saponaria ocymoides features delicate sprays of deep pink flowers covering a low, evergreen mat of bright green foliage. Cut back after flowering to maintain a dense, low habit.
Rock Soapwort is a great perennial for rock gardens, over walls, and slopes. Soapwort grows best in well-drained, gravelly soil that is not wet in winter. Drought tolerant. Requires little water once established.
