Cyperus papyrus – Paper Reed (4.5″ Tall Pot)

The paper reed of ancient Egypt produces 12-20″ spheres of green filaments like fireworks on tall stems. Fast-growing, it lends an incredible exotic flair to containers and water gardens for summer, or year-round in mild climates. Can also be kept indoors as a large houseplant in very bright light.

Provide rich soil and full sun for best growth and strong, upright stems. Can be grown in soil of average moisture or in shallow water. Stems will be damaged by frost. Protect roots from temperatures below 25°F.
