Chasmanthium latifolium ‘River Mist’ (4.5″ Tall Pot)
Clear white variegation makes this upright, clumping grass striking in sun and ethereal in shade, and it adapts to both equally well. Nodding seed heads bow gracefully in summer, dancing in the breeze. Turns copper then brown in fall and can persist through winter.
Adapts to most soils, even clay. Tolerates some drought but grows best with even moisture. Provide more sun in cool summer climates. Cut back in late fall to early spring before new growth emerges.
