Dryopteris sieboldii is an unusual and striking hardy fern from Japan. The pale green fronds are leathery and lance-shaped, unlike any other Dryopteris.
Ferns thrive in neutral to acidic, loose, richly organic soil which is moist but not waterlogged. Siebold’s Wood Fern is excellent for mass plantings, rock gardens, containers, in woodlands and naturalized landscapes. Also works well as a houseplant.
