Description
Agave havardiana, or Harvard’s Agave, usually grows as a single evergreen rosette with broad, near white-blue, powdery leaves. Attractive pink spines line the leaf margins and tip. Look but don’t touch.
Thrives in the heat of the summer. Agaves are drought tolerant perennials that require slightly alkaline, loose, well-drained soil. Once established, water infrequently during the hot season. Adds bold form and color in the landscape. They are easy care, drought tolerant plant that is great in landscapes and containers.
Be careful when handling this plant! Agave havardiana has sharp leaf tips!
