Begonia ‘Kevin Whitecotton’ (4.5″ Pot)

$30.42

Begonia ‘Kevin Whitecotton’ is a unique, rhizomatous hybrid Begonia that features extra small leaves in shades of olive to light green, with very dark green veins. Like its parent Begonia ‘Angel Glow’, the foliage will change color depending on temperature and light exposure, showing shades of dusty purple, bronze, and even red. Like its parent Begonia bowerae var. nigramarga, the edges of the leaves are lined with fine white hairs.

This plant makes an excellent houseplant. It is especially happy in a humid terrarium. Begonias grow best in well-drained, humus-rich soil with moderate water. Apply a slow-release fertilizer sparingly in spring. Protect from freezing temperatures!
