Description
Arctostaphylos hookeri ‘Monterey Carpet’ is a dense, creeping evergreen shrub displaying leathery, dark green leaves. Clusters of white, bell-shaped flowers bloom early. Native plant of the Pacific Northwest.
Manzanita can be a suitable groundcover for dry, sandy soils. Best growth occurs in acid soils. Excellent for edging and rock gardens.
