Portulaca molokiniensis (2″ Pot)

$7.94

Portulaca molokiniensis is a rare succulent species native to the Hawaiian Islands. The name ‘molokiniensis’ specifically refers to the Molokini Islet of Maui, one place where it can be found growing naturally. Features round, slightly cupped, glossy green leaves stacked in a column.

Branches form at the soil line to create clumps. Over time, the plant will form into an upright shrub with a thick woody trunk. Displays striking yellow flowers on tall stems that emerge from the center of the plant. Truly a wonderful, dramatic vertical accent in a succulent garden!

Provide a well-drained soil away from reflected heat. Requires little water once established. Ideal in warm climate landscapes, rock gardens and container gardens, but is especially happy sitting on your windowsill as a houseplant. Protect your PRINCE OF PARADISE™ from frost!
