Description
Scleranthus uniflorus, commonly called New Zealand Moss, forms a dense, tussock-forming carpet of small, golden-green, needle-like foliage. Occasionally walk on mounds to maintain a flat groundcover.
Thrives in gritty, well-drained soil. Drought tolerant once established. New Zealand Moss makes a nice groundcover, alpine garden plant or border plant. Tolerates varying amounts of foot traffic.
