Description
Agave montana forms a tight solitary rosette of glaucous blue-green leaves that are lined with large teeth and have a terminal spine. Slow grower from the high mountains of Mexico.
An easy care, drought tolerant plant is great in landscapes and containers or can adapt as a houseplant. Provide a well drained soil away from reflected heat. Once established, water infrequently during the hot season.
Be careful when handling this plant! Agave montana has extremely sharp leaf tips!
