Begonia emeiensis is a wonderful variety from the slopes of Mt. Emei in China. This upright, mounding variety features green, heart-shaped leaves growing on 1’ tall petioles. Displays lovely pink flowers with yellow stamens above the foliage.

Best grown in moist, humus-rich soil that does not dry out. They prefer high humidity and indirect sunlight. Easy to care for in garden beds, containers, or even as a specimen. Mulch heavily in the fall.
