Adiantum microphyllum is a graceful tropical maidenhair fern that displays tiny, frilly fan-shaped fronds carried on thin black stems. This variety stays compact, forming a clump of arching fronds up to 12″ tall.

Ferns thrive in neutral to acidic, loose, richly organic soil which is moist but not waterlogged. Prefers bright, filtered sunlight and is excellent as a houseplant or in a seasonal container in a consistently humid space, such as a greenhouse or terrarium. Protect from freezing temperatures!
