Rubus pentalobus, commonly called Taiwan Creeping Berry, is a groundcover with deep green, coarse-textured, lobed leaves. Some leaves turn bronze or red in winter. White flowers are sometimes followed by salmon colored berries. Deer resistant.
Thrives in any type of soil but not too dry. Rubus pentabolus is often used as a groundcover and is also useful for erosion control. Excellent for edging and rock gardens.
